Midland Credit Management is another low life company that concentrates on old/Statute barred debt collection. Using semi-extortion/semi-legal tactics they try to get 10 to 20 cents on the dollar on the debt they bought off the 2nd or 3rd hand-me-down original debt holder. Of course any payment will renew the debt clock to day one, and then they’ll use the courts to come after the rest of the money. Just add they’re number the blocked list. Also may try reporting them to your state authorities – don’t waste time with federal agencies, they won’t do anything for you.

I have received multiple calls from this number on my cell when I was not near it. never leaves a message, call back and get the most annoying muzak anyone could find. Searched the number by just entering it into google search (including the 1- at the front) and got many hits including this one - non positive. Number is described as being from a debt collection agency, telemarketing, phishing and just about every option listed in the category here. I have no debts in collection or they would have turned up when I refinanced a house we own last month. Off with the access! Taking their number to the block feature.
