it locked a web browser and i hit cancel but it cont. to pop up (Call centre) reported by


dont really know how i got to it but was on a news site hit a few ad stories and sent me to a page saying its apple support and it has locked down my device due to illegal activity but im writing this on the device thats supposedly locked and the "support" number doesnt match any given by apple, this is was on a different browser app but because of the constant pop up to call the number i cant get out of the page and the web browser app is royally **** now. didnt know what to do so i just deleted the app.

Multiple calls a day that hangs up on me when I answer. Floods my voicemail with blank messages and calls at inappropriate times. I’ve asked 3 times to be taken off the list and got attitude back from the worker. Hate this number.

I used to work for General Credit. If they are calling a wrong number it's because it was provided to the company by the client. All you have to do is answer or call back and let them know that it's a wrong number. They should not have a problem removing it. Ignoring/blocking the number will not help, the calls will just continue. This is not a scam, they are a registered company with a physical office. Do the right thing
