Recorded voice introduced the call as originating from a company called Strategic Research, but no explanation as to type of research. I answered the first two questions which attempted to drill down to my location, and perhaps my identity. I hung up at that point.

They claim that they are a market research firm and if you want to be on their do not call list then to leave your full name and number which in effect gives them more information. SLY! They can then sell your contact information. If they were genuine they would only need your number to stop calling you. I am already on Canada's do not call list for all the good that does.
