They claim to be filing a tax fraud case and that I should call them back immediately. I was initially concerned, as a new adult I only recently done my first set of taxes and I have no way of knowing if it was true or not. Seeing the messages here however it seem clear this is not real.

Caller claimed my fiancée owed money to them and if he didn’t submit information to them they would send someone to our house to arrest him and he would serve 5 years in jail ... spoke to rev Canada and they said it’s a scam!! Lol my poor sweetie was stressing on the phone so I had him put it on speaker and as soon as I heard they had been trying to deliver to our house but we are never home I knew it was a scam .... nice try losers

Total scam. They say they are the IRS and that you have to call them back immediately about a tax fraud case. It sounds real fishy to start with, but the real reason I know this is a scam is because I live in Canada with a Canadian phone number. The IRS does not exist in Canada. LOL

They called and said they were with the IRS and if I didn't pay I'd be arrested. I don't even owe the IRS any money. I then called the actual it's and they said it wasn't them and that they would never call u saying any of those things
