They called me on a number similar to my own and said there was some fraudulent activity associated with my SSN. They asked for my bank information and they asked for the last four digits of my SSN. I didn't give them this information, but they kept trying. Next, they asked for my home address. I refused and he offered to call me on a government number which I agreed to, but that gave me time to look up and number. It is from the SSA, but I was getting tired of their game, so I hung up. My question is how can I stop them from calling me? They call several times a day!

The recording stated my SSN was suspended due to some stupid and silly reasons and to speak with the agent dial one so i did. an indian man with a hindu name greeted me so without any hesitation, i started bombarding him with every curse word there was ever spoken in any of the bollywood movies so he was speechless and hung up the phone. then a few minutes later he calls me back and as soon as i answered he called me two of the same words i had previously awarded him with so from that moment i started bombarding him with my vocabulary again and he could not bare it and immediately hung up again. So, yeah, my hindi rocked ya'll, hahahaha

suspended social security number (Robocall) reported by


Male robocall voice said that my SSN had been suspended for suspicious activity and that I needed to talk to someone about this. I was given a menu of options to press, but I hang up as I knew it to be a scam. Reported the number to the FTC. BUT I just found out that they spoofed the own Social Security Administration TTY toll free number (https://www.ssa.gov/hqalert/)!! talk about impersonating a federal agency!
