The caller call me with telling me the purpose of the call. Also, the caller did not identify herself and additional information to provide trust. I have to research on the internet to know who is the caller.

Left a Voice mail explaining who they were (same company others said) , already knew my name and was helping my new mortgage company (in refinance) get info from my old bank. Voice mail gave call back number and invited me to confirm with my mortgage company if I had further questions about who this company is.

CoreLogic Credit Company, Confirms bills(electric, gas, water, etc) that are in your name and that you have paid on time. So they can confirm credit history for approval for a home loan.., Perfectly fine, my home lenders use this company and informed me that they will be calling etc etc.

Caller stated was from an agency that worked with lenders on home loans. Pressed us to break housing law and provide a rental verification when one legally could not be provided without breaching privacy of tenants. Caller offer no confirmation or proof that they were even associated with an agency other than mentioning 'we work with lenders for home loans'.

If account information needs updated LoanDepot.com contact CoreLogic CREDCO to manually update the accounts which may require a rep to call if your creditor requires your permission. this is not fraud it is a legit company. google CoreLogic CREDCO.
