This is a legit company. I just got off the phone with United Health Care Insurance, which is my medical insurance company. They did confirm this is a company they contracted to, to do just what they said-to do eye exams.

Called me by name with spoofed number saying they use local numbers - 336-310-1101. Said the were HEALTH PROS representing UHC. Said she wanted to set up appointment and would need my date of birth. That was a nope! She told me to call back on this number - 1-855-261-5716. THIS IS A SCAM and was noted as a third party SCAM. Beware!

They called my son, thinking they called me. They identified themselves as Matrix Medical. My son gave them my phone number but I was unable to take the call. They did not leave a voicemail. They are a legit business and I believe they are providing their service thru Medicare. Not leaving a voicemail seemed a bit cheesy. I'm not calling them back as I don't need their services.

Medical Matrix is legit. They partner with several insurance carriers and send a board certified nurse practitioner out for a medical assessment at no cost to you to check medications, BP, weight, oxygen, etc. I had mine today and Linda was great!

They actually showed up w/out permission. Talked to sick patient. (Unsolicited call) reported by


They just showed up went through meds and everything all without the POa being present and without confirming with family to speak to a patient with dementia. I mean wow can’t even run to a store without people just coming in and doing what they want and took a list of medications without discussing with poa and 2 are pills he is allergic to so that isn’t good either.
