Left message saying that I was listed as a co-signor on someone else's loan that had defaulted and that I needed to call before they brought me in to court. I have never cosigned a loan. Call was made under false pretenses.

After getting rid of the last credit card scammer from a local number last year, This year it's i owe for an HSBC Credit One Capital One card (3 separate companies) according to "Brian Johnson." Funny how they picked my Godfather's name lol. Anywho, i told him my lawyer advised for me to let them know that i will be handing over their number for follow up. He asked for my lawyer's name and when I didn't give it to him he became aggressive so I hung up, blocked the number and found this site on google.

Received a call 3/16/2020 from a person who said she was Alex Mitchel at Commonwealth Business Solutions stating that I had a Capital One CC from August 2010 trying to collect before I was taken to court. I have contacted my attorney an was told how to move forward if need be.

Stated I owed money to Capital One Bank and said they were going to send information to the attorneys to move forward with a judgement/lawsuit for a credit card that I owed. I had to pay $300 NOW and I have 1 hour to call back and make a payment. Then when I said I don’t have any money now, he offered to extend it until I get paid!! REALLY!?! I also asked were they accredited with the BBB and he said “yes” so when I looked it up they are not!

Stated their name was Common Wealth Business Solutions. Said I had Capital One card through HBC bank? Said I owed $1300. I've never had a Capital One card and I told them I reported them to the NC State Attorney General's Office!
