I got two calls from this number as well. They asked for Andrew, but didn't say my last name. Also the guy that called my house left some sort of verbose message on my voicemail telling me that they were hired by another client to collect a debt and that legal action was being taking against me; which is the first time I am hearing about it since I didn't received a formal notice in writing in the mail about this issue. So I was telling the guy that Andrew doesn't live here anymore, but that didn't stop him from calling back a minute later to leave that voicemail message for me. Anyway I called them back to confront them about their scam and to tell them I did a little research on the number in question. The person I talked to was a woman and she got a little bit defensive when I called her a scam artist. "Me thinks that thou protests too much," as Shakespeare would say. Anyway I warned her to remove my number from her calling list and never to call me again or I will call the police to report them for their scam. Then I hung up and blocked the number on my phone. I swear no legitimate debt collecting company would have a 1-800 or 1-855 number because that is what tipped me off that they weren't legit. Be wary of phone numbers that begin with 1-8**-**** because they will end up costing you a lot of money in the long run. I swear these scammers must spend every single day trolling the IRS credit reports on all people to see which suckers to hook with their scams. Don't give them money or information. Just tell them to go **** themselves and block their number.

So a man called my mother's phone for me and used my maiden name in a voicemail. He wanted me to pay $653 toward my Boscov credit card that was already on my credit report and closed 10 years ago. Had my old address and the last 4 of my social security number. I called them back and got a woman on the phone. Again she used my maiden name and had the last 4 of my social and old address from 10 years ago. She spoke a little and I hung up on her. She called back and when I answered she aaked why I hung up. I said that this account you speak of was already closed from 10 years ago and she argued with me that it was going on my credit report. I said no it won't because it was already there and closed. Normally a professional business place won't callback and argue and act rude as hell so that was like a huge major flag to me besides the fact they didn't know I was married and moved about 4 different times since the address they provided

Called saying they are calling on behalf of their "client" and had a case # re: un unpaid debt - the "debt" was actually a disputed bill that was settled and closed in 2006. Apparently they dig up old 'delinquencies" and call old numbers in the hopes of reaching some poor soul who may actually have owed something back in the day. Scam artists to the max.

I've answered the call after a number of calls to me and my husband. Guy had alot of my information. Told me they have my account that is past due and now pending litigation. Wanted me to settle it with them. Was not pushy about it. I did have some cards that were settled a while ago and I took time and researched it. Told him I would call them back. After my research i confirmed that card they were calling about was settled back few years ago. Its a scam! Do not pay them anything! According to law and FDCPA any litigation need to be sent in letter format.

Woman called me stating that I owed on a express account that went delinquent back in 2014. I never had an express account opened at that time. She referred to herself as Ms. Taylor staying if I did not pay a settlement of $500 by 3PM today that legal action would be taken against me along with a $1,000 legal fee. I requested the settlement letter to be emailed to me which I did not receive and when I called back, they either referenced a different company name or I got sent to a voicemail. Do not provide any information to these people.

I received a call from this number and the person on the other end asked for me but used my married name which I haven’t used in more than 10 years. That made me immediately suspicious so instead of identifying that it was me I asked who was calling. She only would give me a first name and then said she could leave a message so I told her to go ahead. She proceeded to tell me that she wasn’t going to let me take my own message and that they would be taking me to court and yet refused to tell me who she worked for. She ended the call by telling me to get myself a lawyer and hung up. Absolutely ridiculous and a complete scam.

Got a call, answered, robot said who they were but it was too hard to understand, gave me the choice of being connected to my "account manager" or calling them back at number they repeated. Said to refer to case number "1234". Glad that case number made it easy for me to ignore them.

Just got a call from that number. A guy asked for me and I asked who was calling. He said a name but don't remember it and said he was from a mediation company. I asked him if he knew he was calling a private number and he respond that he did not and that he was calling the number looking for me. I told him to have a nice day and hung up.

Called me advising I owed a debt to a bank I don’t even have any accounts with. Indicating an address I have not resided at in over 15 years. Started asking questions about whether I owned my house. I told them to send me info in writing and hung up on them.

These people called my husband and told him to send him money from a very old bill he didn't remember having. He asked them to send him a letter in the mail and he would review it and pay if needed. They keep calling both of us now, even pretending to be a law office with a case number. I told them to please send a letter to our address and she said they would never do that. That raised a huge red flag for me. Also she asked me if I had common sense and I may have called her a bad word. I don't like confrontation. When I found this site I called them back to let them know I knew they were a scam and to please take us off their call list, that my husband has good credit and shows nothing that he ow's they threatened that he wouldn't when they were done with him. The jig is up and I'm contacting my lawyer later today.

This is a scam! They are saying they are a debt collector but their physical address is a post office box in Georgia. The BBB has filed a complaint against them also! Do not send them money! They have gotten old accounts somehow and calling randomly trying to scare people into paying them money!

Address from 2014 all indicating current info . They where going to send info of the debt via @ that never came and a thread of penalty of $2500 if didn’t pay same day . The right move would be to send via mailing address all info .

Caller said she was calling in reference to a legal claim against me by Citibank. I do not even do business with Citibank. I simply hung up own her. Calls from this number are scams. Beware!
