I received an alleged email from paypal informing me that I had spent $ 500 on a package from Amazon and that if I was interested in canceling I should contact that number. I called and they told me that my credit information is known to a number of hackers and that they will help me to keep my card information and delete it from anywhere on the internet. During the call, the "PayPal representative" took over my phone and did actions on it: he downloaded apps and transferred money to an account in India, while he explained to me that they needed the details to identify me in order to protect me. Unfortunately it took me a while to pick it up and he transferred over $ 500 to the Indian account. Of course I canceled the credit card afterwards and the transfer. Caution!

Tried to say i was being sued. I responded with my lawyers info. Which resaulted in anger. And haven't heard since then.

Tried to say I was being sued over a 9 year old Wachovia account that went negative $40... now I owe $3400... ha. they will settle today for $500... they are a debt collector, but they use fear of the law to get you to pay.
