DON'T GIVE OUT ANY INFO WHATSOEVER

I kept getting this number coming up 3 to 4 times everyday so I finally answered and it was a so called RBC Rep then told me I was $46 dollars late on my credit card payment so I told him "$46, that's it...Why you calling me for $46?" He proceeded to want a payment method but before I gave any info I said to him "Send me an email of this with my bank info so I can call my bank and verify who you are" this guy's next words were "Since your going to pay it no need to continue here, thank you" and he also said that "these calls will stop now"" then hung up.

Caller ID said RBC but I only ever get calls from my actual rep from RBC. Left a voicemail - he used my name but mispronounced it, and sounded like it may have been an out-of-country caller. Felt very suspicious. I would recommend not answering, as it felt scammy.

Did not take the time to inquire further. They were on about RBC Bank Loan. Have never dealt with RBC ever, much less take out a loan. Hung up before any further conversation ensued.

They left a message saying to call them on a personal matter (Call centre) reported by


They called on a Saturday morning and woke me up. I ran to the other room to answer the phone and as i answered they hung up. I'm not sure if it was just too late or if they hung up on me. Then i got a message saying it was RBC and i should call them back on a personal matter or mail them and gave me an address in Montreal. What am i supposed to mail them?
