They keep telling a woman that they are Microsoft and that they will unlock her computer if she pays with a google play card. This is a scam. After she gave them the information they went and said it did not work and that she had to buy another one

Claimed to b Apple Supprt,my phone was hacked, tried 2 steal data (Scam call) reported by


I called this number via a Google Search thinking it was Apple Support then had to hang up quickly for an important incoming call. The person then called me back saying they were apple support and we had been disconnected. they said they could see my phone had been hacked by someone in Ohio. Said they had secured my data but to hook my iPhone up to a computer to complete the security. I asked for proof they really were Apple support and caller gave me his name, “Victor”, Apple ID: AP00814, number 1-855-999-1964. I didn’t have access to a laptop and had to hang up to drive to an appt, then I called Apple Support from Apple’s website and the person told me, “No way was that Apple support. They were going to steal your data if you succeeded in hooking up to a laptop.”
