Apparently Telus/ADT Alarm calling. Why can't they identify as such. People may be less reluctant to take the call. The call ended-up in my voice mail. Crazy for a Security system to ID as "Toll Free Service" Get a real number, after all your a telephone company.

The extremely automated message said it was a call from ADT Canada for my wife and gave an Incident number and this 1-855 number to call back. We do not have ADT Home Security, my wife is not an emergency contact for anyone with ADT Home Security, and this number they left does not match any numbers on the ADT website.

I said I thought it was a scam right away and he said “okay, thanks mam”. Sounds like he doesn’t like his job, so definitely a scam call. Hope they find new jobs, sounds frustratingly difficult. But yeah, don’t pick up basically.

This number called me at least five times in a row! They left a message once to tell me it was ADT and something was wrong with my system. They asked that I call them back and they would help me reboot the system. Instead of calling this number I called the ADT number in my files. ADT checked on their end and said my system was operating properly and the number that called me was not one of their numbers. Definitely not a ADT number. Crooks that are phishing for personal information. A SCAM! BLOCK them ASAP!!! DO NOT ANSWER!!!

This is the right ADT number but it's possible that someone "spoof" the number and use it, so always be careful ;)
