Directed to a scam this time (Scam call) reported by Kate
Usually this IS Price is Right's official number. But today it wasn't. My grandma calls this number on a near daily basis to enter the sweepstakes. However, today I overheard her giving out credit card info to cover handling costs for a visa gift card. And then the woman began to ask her questions to common security answers, such as the names of pets. She even backtracked to verify the species of each pet name given. I took the phone and asked why she needed to know these things. The woman said my grandma didn't need to answer anything she didn't want to, asked me to hand the phone back to her, and immediately started firing off more questions. I muted our side, and after maybe 10 seconds of hearing nothing else from us the woman ended the call. I checked my grandma's recent transactions, and the pending "handling" fee was labeled My ID Guard LLC, nothing Price is Right related.

I was watching Price is Right, Monday December 7th 2020, when the announcer gave this number (855)507-7423 to call for a chance to win. Upon listening to a prerecorded message you have an option to push 1 or 2 on your dial pad. If you answer correctly by hitting the correct number, you are immediately transferred to a human. I spoke to a Chinese Male and he was asking for my credit card number to cover their expenses with a single charge of $1.95. I asked who he was with and he stated ------ promotions, I told him let me get my computer turned on to find out about the company, -------- Guess what, He just hung up. ------ I suspect this was a scam that CBS isn't aware of. I called CBS and reported that it appears some fraudulent activity is taking place with this number. CBS took my number and said someone would get ahold of me. I don't recommend giving your credit card number out. SCAM ALERT

month Recurring Bill Services it's 100% overseas call center scam and CBS is being used as a cover I hope the operators of this scam see the inside of a jail cell soon.
