Said she was from Merchant Services wanting my current monthly processing reports to see if I was being overcharged by some visa /mastercard overcharge fee starting on May 3rd .She said she could recover the over charges for me ,if I didn't do it I would become non compliant and charged a penalty on my future statements.Eventually I would NOT be able to accept credit cards .I told her I was not going to do anything with it and she hung up

Merchant Compliant Issue, She hung up when i started laughing (Telemarketer) reported by


Tried really hard to make me believe it was a compliance issue even though i explained i have my compliant certificate, gave me the run around and i explained she should contact my merchant people. She got more frantic so i began laughing because i knew then it was a scam and she hung up on me. I blocked the number after that.

Merchant Services- Acted like a 3rd party company that is making sure our processing fees are accurate. She said that they would need our monthly statements to see if the "covid relief something" was zeroing out our processing fees. I quickly said we are good, thank you- the lady on the phone became rude and acted like I was breaking a law for not providing her with my current monthly processing reports.

"Mainstreet Services" (Service) reported by


Representative Rod stated he was from MainStreet Services and they are monitoring merchant service accounts for illegally added fees that are supposed to be charged to large businesses but not smaller ones. Asked for a copy of my merchant service statement so they could evaluate the hidden fees and see what should not be charged. They claim they are not trying to sell anything or using the information for anything other than compiling a report for us to dispute fees... I havent sent anything in because it seems like a scam... They called again trying to rush me into sending them information.

Introduced as Mainstreet Services asked for merchant account manager to talk about a possible over billing... We use another company for our card processing. None of our business contacts operate under that name... got 2 calls one introduced herself as Sandra and the 2nd call was Eunice Both read an exact script.
