CALL ASKING IF CHARGE WAS MADE (Scam call) reported by


This call came in on a Sunday and asked if a charges was authorized and gave 3 choices. I immediately hung up without pressing any of the prompts. I have since learned that the company associated with the number is Affirm a financial lending company. Unsure if the call was actually from 855-423-37xx or if the caller id was spoofed. In researching Affirm at BBB there are several complaints from customers who say they are being held responsible for charges they did not authorize so it is very concerning to me and I do not know what to do.

All companies have complains, the 855-423-3729 is a legit number, if a loan was taken out on someone´s name and is not recognized the best thing to do is to have it investigated. As long as you are not been asked for debit card,credit card or bank account information you should be fine.
