Called spectrum about my wifi bc it kept saying I had multiple accounts. When I called they asked if I was calling from this specific number, 855.... I says no— that is not even my area code. This number was masking my call in number and when the representative looked it up she said it was active but not connected to a specific address but has multiple phone numbers linked under this account. I was like “in order To open an account under my number and info they’d have to had used my social and that’s identity theft.” The rep blew it off and said the account wasn’t being connected to an actual service, just a list of different numbers all over the US. Come on. Well delete it off my account! Will get a different, more competent rep. If you are getting a call from this number call your internet provider because you’ve probably been hacked.
