tried to get me to go to a website to download a program. scam (Scam call) reported by


said someone had hacked into my network (i called back multiple times and was always a different location) and wanted me to go their website so they could "fix" the network issue. no simple understanding of ip addresses or home networks at all. they are literally the dumbest scammers ive ever heard. one of them even admitted they were scamming when confronted.

robo call (Nuisance call) reported by


This number called my cell phone and left a robo message stating that my security was compromised and I needed to return the call immediately. Knowing this was a scam, I called the number from a secure land line phone. A "live person" answered. When I questioned why he called my phone, he said he didn't. He tried arguing with me, and I told him I just received a message from his number, then he said "oh, your security has been breached on your system and it needs to be fixed. Are you aware of this?" After telling him a few choice things, I immediately hung up. He sounded like he was in a room full of other telephone operators (i.e. scammers), and he had such a thick accent (Indian, Middle Eastern) that is was hard to understand him.

I had a missed call from this number. A voicemail was left, with a robotic voice reciting the number from which the call came; there was no message, other than that. Evidently, the robot started talking before the voicemail engaged, as it seemed to be repeating the number as the recording started.
