They called me out of the blue and then expected me to give them personal information without having any idea if they are legitimate or not, and they would not "verify" themself. I'm not giving personal information to anyone when they call me.

Northwestern Medicine's bill auto dialer, if you setup auto pay with mychart yourself it doesn't tell the auto dialer. Otherwise it is them calling.

I'm gonna assume it's a debt collector from my neurologist but they would of sold off my 2k bill quickly (idk if I'm ever going back, they're good but $200 to see the doctor? No set price?? Off topic) the phone rang once, then they hung up.

This number has called me twice over the last week around 6 PM with an automated message asking to call it back between 8-5, and mentioned it was on behalf of Northwestern Medicine. Googling the number showed a lot of people had flagged it as spam but also returned the Northwestern Medicine Contact Us page. I called the number listed on Northwestern's Contact page and the rep I spoke to confirmed it was a Northwestern number. In my case, I had been to Northwestern over the last couple months but had paid all bills online in the NW MyChart. They service rep just correct a system that was generating these automated calls. I'd recommend just contacting NW through the number listed on their contact page to resolve the issue.

Voicemail said she was calling on behalf of Northwest Medical. She gave a number to call back. As I am not nor ever was in the north west I cannot imagine who they represent. I assume they are a billing or collection agency.

i receive a call from this number stating they are calling northwestern hospital. they asked to for dob and address they have to do this for hippa to ensure they are talking to correct person.. they just ask if you receive a statement and wanted to know if you want to make a payment on your account. if you don't remember the dos or have question regarding the call just ask for an itemize statement.. no spams call

This is in fact Northwestern Medicine's billing department phone number. They do ask for name, birthday, and address to pull up the account. They were then able to see bills due for my dependents. The number ending in 2861 is listed on the Northwestern Medicine billing web page.
