Claims to be Spectrum, but isn’t! (Scam call) reported by


Said they were calling about an installation. Proceeded to ask me about our internet usage, etc and so I asked a couple of times, “Is this Spectrum”? He finally yelled at me saying, “I already said yes”!!! At that point I said, “ F*** You” ... and hung up on him. I did hear a lot of “boiler room” activity in the background, so it was a telemarketer, just don’t think it was actually Spectrum ... just an imposter!

they keep calling me multiple times this week saying they are with spectrum. I have robokiller so it answers for me and records the call everytime they call they say hello...then say we are going to call back at later time. I do not have anything set up for them or appointment for an installation. I have everything i need with them.

I haven't found any ratings for this number somewhere else on internet resources, which should be a good sign... Does someone have some experience with this one? Was trying also different formats of this number, but no luck. On the other hand, I am not the only one searching for this number as can be seen from different pages...
