I got a text message from a David with Locator Services and that to get my personal belongings out of the vehicle because it was being taken to settle a debt. I texted back "What" and he said gave me another number to call and said "Good Luck" I called the other number and they said they were CCA Group and his name was Charles. He said he wasn't a debt collector but that they were obtained from Foster and Monroe which he says is an attorney. The whole thing was confusing. I am just giving the information as I recall it. He did throw out a very old debt that I had in the past. He gave me a number of what I owed and a settlement amount. He didn't exactly say he would take the payment. I think he said he would have them contact me to take payment. The numbers that were given to me were 716-430-0018, 866-298-5285, 866-307-1848 and 855-202-4849. I must correct that I did not answer the number that I have listed above, it is a number that was on my voice mail from a women saying she was from cca and something about a statement of intent. I have since obtained a bankruptcy lawyer and informed them with the phone number that my lawyer gave me. Just in case.

Harassing elderly parents (Scam call) reported by


Male subject called my elderly parents demanding a "good" number regarding another family member. I called the number back, John answered, I told him do not call my parents again and attempted to explain why. Subject was aggressive, rude, and threatened me with legal action. Subject had all of my information up too and including my SS#. "John" then hung up on me.

Received a call from CCA. They never said who exactly they were or who they were representing. They said that they were calling for a statement. They were threatening filing in my jurisdiction for a pending litigation. They never said where this filing was going to happen or why they were going to do it. Luckily, it went to my voicemail so I can save the number and report it to our state agency.

Micheal McCoy calling me, family and friends threading with legal action. Stated I had received papers in mail and had all my personal information. I have never received any mail from this man. Total scam and needs to be shut down. Recovering from the death of my daughter and do not need this. Total scam and i will be willing to file charges if needed.

I got a call from a michelael McCoy. Saying I owe money for a purchase back in 2010. Which I never did. He had all my information. Telling me they will garnish my wages, my child support. Of im on asstiance they will take that. Also sherfiff sale in my home. When I asked I want or proof of all that is said. He said they have all proof and I will lose. Every time I asked questions he would rear off and talk nonsense. This is scary cause they have my personal info ( which I don't know how) .But a total scam.

These men called our adult children, why, I do not know, we have been here at our home all day. They were threatening and very very rude. They were calling about a MasterCard that was very old in which we already made a settlement with. They said they will garnish our wages, and put a $25, 000.00 lien on our home. They said they were paralegals for an attorney and the compaay name is CCA they said. A man named DAVID called my children, I called him back and was put on hold and another man answered saying he was or worked for E. B. The whole thing was so unprofessional. This company needs to be shut down. I am reporting them to the New York state attny general's office, as well as the Fair Dept Collections office.

Keep receiving calls from this number with an automated person; (Robocall) reported by


I have been getting calls from this number for several weeks. first it was a live person and I told him I was not able to assist and then he threaten me with a subpoena. I told him to go ahead and serve me. Then the automated calls started non-stop for 3 weeks now. So annoying and they can't get the message that I have no relation to the person they are trying to reach.

It would sound like a person and then a machine would state your name. I called back to ask why they were calling, they said for litigation for another person I know, and I claimed I did not know that person and to remove all my personal contact information.

Left a voicemail, you could tell it was pre-recorded. A woman talking, then a computer saying a name of the person they were looking for, Candace Joplin (which is not me!). Many years ago, a woman named Candace Joplin gave my cell phone number as her own. She probably picked it from random or got it from some other means. I do not know anyone by that name. I get calls from time to time from debt collectors and warranty companies and other telemarketers looking for Candace Joplin. This lady has financial/legal issues apparently. Anyway, this phone number is a scam/spam. Do not answer it.

They keep calling me about a so-called relative. The person is not related to me. They had personal information about actual family members but didn't understand why I was getting upset about the relative they called about. I kept telling them there was no one in the family by that name. Now they call almost everyday, every 2 hours from unknown number, leave threatening messages and every time I block a number they use a different one.

This person by the name of Henry Clark keeps calling and now there is a woman calling me also. She left a message but she didn't leave a name. They said they were going to file a lawsuit in my county because they are moving it over because I haven't lived in that state for a little over 10 years. They had all of my husbands personal information but they keep calling me even though I told them if they can find me that they can find him. They have been calling me off and on for the past 6 months or so. I really wish they I could get further information on them but I can't seem to find anything.

compliance corporation association Received a phone call from a very rude gentleman by the name of Henry Clark said he worked for compliance corporation and that my information was given as a point of reference for a Tyra Ann Poindexter who happens to live in the Delano California Kern County I do not know any Tyra ann I have never been to the Delano California and he had my personal information my name birthdate and Social Security number he kept insinuating that I was lying to him and that it would be entirely best interest if I told her to call him I kept explaining to him that I apologize but I don't know a Tyra and this is very concerning to me because you have all my personal information and how did you get it? he said it was due to a pre-litigation in Kern County and it would be at Tyra best interest if I just told her to call him again I told him I didn't know Tyra this was after of course him hanging up on me 4 separate times before I just asked him to please listen to me sir I'm concerned because you have all of my personal information and I don't know how you got it and he kept insinuating that I knew Tyra and just have her call even though I say I don't this is a very disturbing call to me as I have never been in Delano California and I don't know Tyra Ann Poindexter

my sister received this very distressing phone call regarding a debt I apparently owe that she is attached to also. I have no such debt out there. this person had my name, age, social and all important information. My sister was very panicked and needed to be reassured that I have no knowledge of any type of action against me. They even called on her cellphone.
