The automatic caller said that there was pending legal action against me (on my new work cell number) and that I should call the number. This was the third call. When I called back the number from my work phone, it was constantly "busy".

I received a missed call from 845-809-3168 and they left a voicemail stating that "there are 4 serious allegations pressed on my name by the local police". The area code of the number doesn't even match my local police station. I was a scam and the voicemail was automated. Do not respond to these people!

Major IRS Scam (Call centre) reported by


Got a call saying that I need to send them converted funds of $7,500 for IRS money owed. They didn’t know my name and no information, spoke to Michael Lee ID # IRM1544 , Max Cooper ID # IRM12264 and Allan Donald IF # GS4386 .. I asked them for paperwork showing the amount owed and they got upset and said jail time and bank garnishments if the money was not sent. I checked and I don’t owe anything, I’m thinking this can be reported to police as harrasment phone call ????
