They claim that I did not pay a credit card from Capital One. This is a scam! Capital one says to ignore their calls and don't confirm any information they provide.

Said I opened a credit card for capital one in 2012 and made payments until 2015 so it was still viable which is a lie. No new accounts since 2009 except in last 2 years. Debt collector and fos. Do not give any info.

Claim to be a mediator in a debt and wanted me to pay $1,250. (Scam call) reported by


Said I owed a debt to JCP and wanted me to pay $1,250 right then and there. I wanted more information to verify the debt. I wanted a phone number to their "client" so I could see if this was legitimate. The lady just got angry and said we will take your file to the courts right now.
