It was a rep or someone from UPS just confirming my details and orientation date and time and going over the expectations of the job and if I'm ok with it. Ppl think it's a scam because it's outsourced work so you're talking to foreigners who don't have the best English and the call can cut out cause they're calling from a different country but they still work for UPS. They call it an interview but it's not because they're arent any questions. I don't think you have to answer the call in order to start work but i think it's just a reminder/confirmation tool UPS uses since the job can have a high turnover rate.

So, I fill the ups application and follow the instructions. So I call this number but, the call cut and I got call back my phone said "spam risk" so I totally freak out so I try to reach ups for several internet links every single one lead me to the same "http:" where this number is on it so I finish the process and I got a job offer and is shown in the job ups web site. So something is happening here case 1: I am all f***k up or case 2: you are paranoic time will tell and I hope is option 2. since I dont find other way to connect with ups...

Received the call saying it was a ups hr rep. Seemed kind of odd and after reading all the comments about scam call it makes sense. But the part that doesn't make sense is that on the ups website my application status got updated following the call. Is it a scam or not?

Person who spoke poor English asked if I had a few minutes to talk about a recent UPS job I applied for. Immediate red flag since I know UPS hiring process. I’ve worked with UPS for a previous job. I’m calling UPS corporate to inform them that someone has hacked into their job portal and has gained unauthorized access to their applicants information. The person hung up after I said “huh”? Cruel and sad world we live in. Job seekers BEWARE!

Received the call, answered, said Hello twice, no one on the other line, hung up. Received the call a second time 2 minutes later, answered again, same deal. Received the call a THIRD TIME in 2 minutes, SAME ****. Hung up and blocked the call. Looked up the number and got this site. I have applied for UPS, I have a start date, saw everyone mentioning UPS, unblocked the number. Saw all of the SCAM WARNINGS and re-blocked them.

This is not UPS I repeat this is not UPS they keep you on the phone asking you the same questions you just answered in the application remind you this is supposed to be an interview they keep you on the phone while they try to hack your browser and your IP address warning do not stay on the phone with this number
