They asked for someone who doesn't even live here, an unrecognizable name. I think they just call people randomly hoping to get someone who will fall for their shenanigans.

Apparently alliance one or something. Looked them up on Google and others had complaints. Seems to be a scam as they ask for your first and last name

Alliance One debt collector is who they say they are for PayPal. Got a call from this number 1-844-846-0158 They have a lot of information including your first & last name and date of birth and last 4 of your social security # and are trying to get you to verify the info they have and that you owe lots of money to a PayPal account. I don't have a PayPal account for this very reason. However, Office depot uses paypal and Belk dept store uses PayPal, so all of a sudden you are being told you have a PayPal account when in fact you don't. This is a huge scam looking to get your personal info.
