Tlhe number showed up as Rogers, knew it wasn't, so didn't answer. Just looked on line and found out it's a townhouse under the name of Medina Enterprise in Toronto, Ontario.

claims to be HP assistance warning of virus on your computer. Call centre noise clear in the background, does sound like India/Pakistan location very hard to understand. calls start as early as 0545am with multiple calls every day. If you don't answer you get another call within minutes

The first call occurred March 6, 2017. The scam attempt occurred March 13, 2017. A "Jacob" called me informing me that my computer was having "problems' due to all of my downloads. I told him I was not sure what he was talking about, but I believed him because he said he was from HP. I let him gain access to my computer through a desktop sharing app called Teamviewer/Teamvision. He told me people had hacked into my computer and he would install AVG security. He talked to me about my life and put on a friendly front. He asked me for some information like my e-mail and address. While he was downloading something onto my computer, he informed me I had to pay for the service. 1 year - $199.99 2 years - $249.99 Lifetime - $799.99 This should have been my first obvious red flag. I knew that I had a HP Smart Friend subscription, and they would not be asking me to pay this much for a service like this. Jacob then told me to fax my payment to this address 4D Leaside Park Dr. Toronto, Ontario M4H 1R3 Canada Luckily I contacted my mom, who is an expert at spotting discrepancies, and she told me this sounded like a scam. My mom asked me why I was sending the money to Canada if it was an American company, and what the name of the company was. Jacob told me "Swift Creations." My mom looked up the company and found out it was a scam. I shut down my computer immediately to attempt to stop whatever they were downloading. I called them and told them I would report them to the FCC if they ever called me again. Jacob and another person "Robert" who told me he was from "operations" tried to tell me they did not actually WORK for HP or Microsoft but simply fixed their products. This was a lie, because they initially said they worked for HP. This company is a SCAM and we need to bring a lawsuit against it.

Refund for fault product. (Service) reported by


Tried to refund us through direct wire, overpaid us and wanted to have us pay them back by purchasing itunes cards and giving them the code. Told us to only use one computer for my credit card online. Even gave me false phone number for my credit card to verify transaction went through. I called the 800 number on my credit card, no transaction crediting my account. Yet number they had me call said it went through and posted. Checked my account on my phone. No credit applied. Lies, lies, scam!!!

Wanted $ 180.00 and then charged me 2 times. I am a **** for doing this. Now he calls 4 times a day. Kevin O connor is his name or fake name. He is now all over these sites because I will go to every single one to SHUT HIM DOWN. HEY KEVIN YOUR GOING DOWN !!!!!!!!!!!
