Someone named Iris called my phone asking for my sister's cell phone number, but wouldn't identify why they were calling and refused to explain why they needed her number. They said it was a "personal business matter", so I refused and they hung up

It was KIA Motor Finance who I am leasing my car through, and there was an issue with the bill, and they were calling to inform me of the issue. If you have an account with them, you should expect a call from them from time to time if there is an issue.

You have to be careful about giving information over the phone. Just because they say they a company doesn't mean its really them. I got a call from somewhere out of the country, and the man on the other end told me he was from Lyft and to turn my app off. I was looking at my driving record being used in another country right before my eyes, it was strange to see my app money adding up, but I was at home. Then I thought about it, Lyft only communicate through emails and never calls. I contacted Lyft. Sure enough it wasnt them and they closed that account and I had to close out my bank account. Be careful you don't know who you're really on the other end. Thieves find ways to steal anything.

Hyundai Motor Finance. During a billing dispute, many calls each day. They even call from different numbers to throw you off. Calls as early as 8am Sun. Thought that is illegal, but I believe I was wrong.

We get at least 2-3 calls in our office a DAY from this number. Every time we answer, the caller hangs up. Very frustrating. Called and asked for the calls to stop, but the person who answered played dumb and did not accept our "Do Not Call" request.

We have an the SAME experience in our office. Daily call(s) to our main office , caller hangs up every time we answer, when we call back, we are given the run-around and told we cannot be removed from their call list since we do not have an account with them! It makes NO SENSE & WASTES our time!!
