Fake Microsoft Tech (Nuisance call) reported by


This number called me claiming (Indian guy) that my computer was sending them a message that there was some sort of virus on it. He identified himself by saying that he worked for Microsoft as a computer tech. I then proceeded to tell him that I was googling his number and he said he had to go. I then told him to never call me again. Don't give these dirty, trash of the earth people any of your information and just hang up.

They called me saying Microsoft tech.....i said what now u want my CC number.....listen i dontbhave microsoft.....they hung up.....5 min later a lady calls this is a MAC TECH......isaid really u think this is gonna workkkkk.....they hung up

Twice Bitten (Nuisance call) reported by


Someone called (sounding Hispanic) I could not understand, call sounded very static like, and hard to hear. I kept repeating I could not hear. I understood person to say they would call me back. But no one called me back. I then called number, it rang once, and no one picked up but line sounded DEAD, so I hung up. A few minutes later, the phone rang with same number, this time no one was there after answering. I thought then it was a scammer or solicitor trying to get info on my by spamming and fishing, having gotten me to answer their call twice. So I hung up. I then called their number again, and it rang once and went to a dead silence after, just like the first time I called. So I acted like an answering machine was there, and spoke, saying if they did not answer the phone now, NOT to call me a 3rd time. I then blocked them on my phone, home land line. We are on the National Do Not Call List, and the Texas Do Not Call List. It was ILLEGAL for these people to harass me by calling TWICE.
