I didn't answer the call because I didn't know the number. They left a recorded message claiming to be the IRS. They said that they were pursuing a a lawsuit for fraud. it was essential I call back.

A recorded message says it was my final notice from the IRS, Since it was not the IRS, nor do I have any dealing with the IRS, I hung up and blocked the number.

This call was a playback of a machine voice. They claimed to be the IRS and that they were perusing a law suit for fraud. The playback indicated that it was imperative that a call back was made.
