I got the call description from above: "your account has been charged ___. Press 1 to accept the charge or 9 to cancel." So, I actually pressed 9 to see where I would get to. A person answered the phone and asked if I was the owner of this phone number. And I responded yes. Then she told me that they had taken 299 from my account for a computer warranty and she could have my money sent back to me. I told her that I hadn't purchased a warranty and she said that I purchased it in October of 2017. I told her that I most definitely had not purchased a warranty plan in 2017 because I was unemployed at that point. Then she changed her mind and said that the original charge was not 2017 but was 4 years ago when I purchased a computer. I told her that that computer was obsolete and doesn't even work anymore and she said that I just needed to get to the computer for her to send me a form to fill out. At that point, I finally just hung up. Not sure exactly what information they are trying to scam, but it is definitely a scam call. Just ignore it!

A slightly garbled, authoritative male voice said in English: "We have drawn $299 from your bank account for computer services. If you'd like to continue this service, press 1. If you'd like to discontinue this service, press 9." I stayed silent, and did not press anything, and they ended the call with a click. The same call came in around 8:00 a.m. local time two days in a row. I knew no one had made an unsolicited draw from my bank account.
