The guy who called knew my full name and said that someone was trying to hack my email for my yahoo account. So the **** hole told me that he had to walk me through on how to make my computer and browsers safe. He then said if you don't believe me here's my manager. And put me on the phone with someone who didn't even know what was happening..... BE CAREFUL

I got a call from an 800 number and the caller claimed he was from Yahoo and that they noticed that there were five attempts to hack my email account. I asked for a supervisor and the supervisor said there was 7 attempts to hack my account and that they were from Russia. He wanted access to my computer at which point I used every four letter word in the book to tell them exactly what I thought of them and then I hung up. I got a call right after from THIS 800 number which is obviously another number from the same group of scammers and they asked me why I hung up and I again used my extensive four letter word vocabulary to tell them what I thought of them. They are continuing to call me.

I answered but didnt say anything because of everything i read here. just listened, definatly a call center of some type. Many voices in tbe back ground, all with thick accents. No one ever said anything to me and line cut off after about 2 minutes.

Heavy Indian accented female 1st, claiming to be from Microsoft Tech & that I have a serious issue, my network provider has been compromised and network is not safe. (HA!) I hung up on her. Heavily Accented Indian Guy calls back, claiming to be calling from South Carolina, and a supervisor, very pushy, wanted me to check things on my pc while he waited. Gave a supposed Microsoft ID of MIC0139. Riiight. I called the number back, got recorded loop of "this number is not valid".
