Trying to **** you into paying money you dont owe anymore (Debt collector) reported by


Don't pay theses guys and don't acknowledge any old debts (more than 2 years old in Ontario) that you may have had. These guys will try to get money from you that you don't legally owe anymore due to a 2 year statute of limitations in Ontario. They don't have the proper paperwork to take you to court. I just silence the ringer on my phone and usually don't even notice their calls. They can waste their resources and manpower trying to get $ from me but since they don't have a legal leg to stand on; I will never succumb their tactics.

Call and never leave message....EVER! i dont owe any $ or debt. I blocked the call over 2 months ago when they started calling. Even my own phone knew they werw scam. It rang and said suspected scam debt collector in big red letters. It knew they are a joke!

Sometimes they call 5+ times daily. I no longer answer the calls, yet the area code is somewhat different each time, yet the tel # is always (xxx) 528-0423. On occasion they leave a recorded robocall message stating that this call is regarding "an important business matter regarding FEDEX"

Sometimes they will leave an automated voice message. Says that the message is for my husband and that it is concerning a very important business matter and to call back using a reference number. Sometimes the number calls and I dont have a voice message from it .

Text came from (438) number telling me to call the (844) number back regarding an important business matter. No idea what it’s for, just that it’s unsolicited. Seems suspect to me. Won’t be answering.

Got a call from this on my office line, no clue who it was and no caller ID /name/ came up, just the number. Answered with a friendly 'hello' several times, heard someone breathing on the other end and office-like sounds in the background, then they hung up.

These people are CBV Collection Services Ltd. ( They are **** who harass innocent people with the same last name of whom they are looking for.......I don't get how these people are still in business? They have called me about 100 times and even texted my phone number....real winners! They buy uncollected credit notes from the banks and any other source and try their damnedest to collect on debt that is well over 10 years old........DO NOT PAY ANYTHING THAT IS OLDER THAN 7 YEARS....STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS COMES INTO PLAY AND THEY CAN'T DO A THING TO YOU OR YOUR CREDIT.....AGAIN **** WITH NO OTHER WAY TO MAKE A LIVING!
