Saying I am being taken to court for a Payday Loan (which I never took) from eight years ago. Woman is forceful and says she has the papers all ready. I ask her what address she's sending them to and it infuriates her. Do NOT fall for this, my bank looked into it and it's 100% a Scam!

Here we go again with a new number, 844-510-1813. These people are ridiculous. They call everyday saying that there is a bill owed for a loan that I did not get. No company name. Here is a list of some of the numbers they have used. 844-243-2207, 844-243-5515, 844-243-2208, +844-243-2208, 844-243-2024, +844-243-2024, 844-271-2526, 844-279-1645, 844-279-7429, and 844-290-7067. It is a SCAM. I guess when the number has gotten enough complaints they get a new number. I pray that they are caught and thrown under the jail.

company claims to be ACE Cash Services, attempting to collect a payday loan that I never had. If you Google the company name and/or phone number, you will see this is a scam. I get these calls (they also send out horribly written/worded emails, supposedly from an attorney, threatening legal action in what is obviously NOT English as a first language. No one who graduated from law school in the U.S. would be caught dead writing something this poorly written) because my identity was stolen in 2014. Don't be bullied into believing what they say even if they seem to have a lot of your personal info. In my case, they claim my payday loan was from 2004...12 years ago. The statute of limitations on legitimate payday loans (if I really had taken one out) ranges from 2-5 years, depending on what state the loan generated from. In my case, it was Calif, where the statute of limitations is 4 years after the loan was first in default. These geniuses are trying to collect a loan I NEVER had 8 years after the statute of limitations expired. Nice try, fellas. Another red flag: These calls almost always come in on spoofed caller ID's. They leave no callback #, so I tried to call the # they called from...disconnected. The majority of these calls are calling from offshore. TOTAL SCAM. If you are worried that they have your personal info, the best thing to do is file a complaint with the FBI's IC3 Internet Crimes division. It is also recommended that you notify your financial institution & check your credit report. While these guys are totally bogus, you can't be too careful.

Tell them you have turned them into the FBI. That is what I did. But they are calling again. I did report them to my local police, though.
