They called my cell phone asking for my daughter by the maiden name she has not had in 12 years. She has excellent credit. She just bought a house a few months ago, so you know this is not real. It begins as a robocall trying to scare you that you are being sued. They ask you to press 1 to talk to a person, but I did not do that.

Left message that would frighten someone who is not savvy to the thieves and creeps of this world; stated further litigation pending if I didn't call back immediately. Ridiculous threats as I owe no one anything which is verified regularly through credit Karma. DON'T FALL FOR THIS SCAM TO STEAL YOUR MONEY AND INFO.

Called to say I had an outstanding balance from Best Buy being sent to litigation. Opened in 2012 was delinquent in 2014. The address they provided, I don't live at anymore. I haven't opened an account from Best Buy since I was 18-20 yrs old. I have filed for bankruptcy since then and this is not showing up on my credit report. I assume this is FRAUD. He emailed me a letter (I gave him an old email address I only use for junk) with a settlement notice and recommended I get an attorney or file a police report. I don't owe this so the threat to send me to court falls on deaf ears.

The call was for some woman my dad was married to for about 5 minutes in the late 80's. Caller said they had been hired to open a case against her and said she needed to call them to make arrangements. She and I never shared a residence or any contact information and i have not seen her since 1989. SCAM!

It was a recording and told me to press one to speak to someone so I did. Told me I had a payday loan I. 2019 and they were going to take further action if I didn't pay it. I have never had a payday loan and they also said I need to make myself available between 12 and 5 to be severed papers. She spoke broken English. I told her send the papers.

I received the same phone call today and it was a payday loan through timely payday.com for $1800 and someone paid $65 for 3 months and then stopped
