On July 28, 2017, I received a call from a man identifying himself as "Paul Larson" of Family Builders, a handy man contracting firm. He said he would have people on my street available for giving estimates for any work that I might want done at my home. It so happens that I do need work done at my place, and arranged for an appointment. As time came near, I wanted to reschedule for a much later time while I continued to investigate this firm. My call to (844)330-6879 was unanswered. Now I see by checking online that this is a scam.

Yet another unwanted call from this non-existent (spoofed) toll-free number arrived today, just 4 weeks since the last call on Jan 25. Once again, when the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message, just dead space. This is a favorite ploy of robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) who spoof their numbers to hide their tracks while trolling the phone lines seeking gullible schmucks to victimize. Many have reported the caller is a scam contractor, sometimes identified as In & Out Builders and sometimes as Castle Builders. One could say they are "buiding" a scam empire. DON'T BE VICTIMIZED BY THESE TELECRIMINALS. LET YOUR ANSWERING MACHINE TAKE THEIR PATHETIC CALLS.

Caller said her name was Christie and she was calling on behalf her father - a local contractor and they would be on my street (named it) and did I have any work I needed done. I politely said no thank you and would you please add me to your do not call list and she hung up on me. RUDE!

Called asking for Mrs. Recipient. When asked who was calling gave fakeish name, when asked who she represented said "City of Tustin," and when asked what could we do for her, said, "If you're going to be uncoöperative I won't make any concessions for you" and hung up. Good riddance.
