She said she was from cox and me knowing I have my bill paid I hung up but kind of wish I stayed on the line to hear what she had to say. I called the number back and it didnt say thanks for calling cox or anything it just said I was being connected and was 1st in line then it just kept ringing. I call bs and a scam.

Left a msg on my voicemail stating they were Cox Communications. Calling as they noticed I had called recently and they wanted to know if I was satisfied with the service. I didn’t call!!!!!!!! Not rocket science to realize it was a scam. I never answer calls if I do t recognize the number. My caller ID did not show Cox only a toll free number. Suspicious..... SCAM for sure.

The call had a lot of interference noise and the guy who called was cold, appeared to read from a script, and showed no real interest in my opinion. He rattled off some phone number to call back on and then hung up. I called back through the phone number that he had called from and there was no reference to Cox Cable in the automated recording. As a matter of fact, no company name was provided at all. He had information that only a Cox tech would have had access to but the call sounded really suspicious. It seemed like my phone had been tapped, as well. Highly suspicious.

They claimed to be from Cox wanting to see if I was satisfied. They had my husband's name and I said he wasn't available. They got my name and asked for my pin. That's when I declined. Hung up and called the main Cox number. They said it was absolutely a scam call and they will never call customers like that.

I got the same call but it was actually cox. they had all my information and asked if I wanted to extend my plan. I said sure and sure enough my cox account noted the call and updated my billing. Changed my email, password, and security questions to be safe but it was real.

I've also been receiving these calls, (SEVERAL! 2-3x/wk! FemBot left me only one, very sketchy voicemail with no viable info proving that "she" knew who I was or anything about my account.) I've done my Google-y research, as well as called a known safe number for Cox Communications: The number and Customer Survey Service USED to be legit. As of mid-to-late 2018, this is no longer the case and they have dozens of forums that address the issue. Addressing this specific number, even - 'If you haven't had a service call/tech come out or made inquiry to Cox Communications within the last month, you should not be getting a Satisfaction Survey. To always be on the safe side, ensure that you contact Cox directly for all of your needs. Never give anyone that calls out to you, your personal or Cox account information' (loosely quoted) I've participated in past surveys and they're ALWAYS an option at the end of the current call. Or, if it's after a physical service call, they may call or text you about participating in a survey; however, they NEVER ask for your info. Ever. Block the number and report it to the FTC/FCC and ignore the scammer who claims to work for GSC. Superb examples of the top two ways to spot a scam/scammer: Poor grammar and excessive reassurance that they're NOT a scam.
