Pretending to be Garmin tech (Scam call) reported by J B
Pretending to be a tech working for Garmin to fix GPS issues. Then claim they can fix your computer as well. They ask to access it and then try to sell you software for ridiculous amounts of money. Do not fall for this!!!

Garmin update gone wrong (Scam call) reported by Keith Bryan
Made the mistake of contacting a Garmin chat that sent me to a tech from this site who then tried to sell me software to protect my pc at a huge cost per year. They act like they are associated to Garmin but are not and just scam you for software purchases.

Beware of these prople (Scam call) reported by Guy Hammer
This group is accessed through MAP UPDATES 1-844-291-4374. They are not affiliated with Garmin although they pretend to try to help you fix a problem they are just trying to sell you a software related service. They avoid fixing obvious problems and switch you to trying to speed up your computer, and lock you into a long-term contract. They are polite scammers, but scammers none-the-less. They are dishonest and misrepresent who they are and what they are trying to do for you. They wasted about an hour of my time.
