Posing as Hilton Rewards with a live offer (Scam call) reported by


I spoke to a very competent saleswoman and had no real concern of it being a scam call, I truly thought she worked at Hilton. She referenced my stay at an Embassy Suites but knew nothing more than that. It was a "live offer" that I was unable to pay for online or reference the details for... so sketchy. When I called back, I got a different person and I played along. They were unable to pull up my Hilton account from my phone number, something Hilton Honors can do. I put them on hold while I "searched for my account information" and while on hold I could hear nervous voices talking to the lady I put on hold, asking what I was doing, where I called from, etc, basically coaching her through how to handle the situation. Super super sketchy. Called Hilton Honors and they confirmed they are not calling their members pitching a live offer.
