Stupid me I gave them my information for I had a feeling to Google the phone number and I read this thread and I told them I didn't want anything and delete my information please. She kept asking is there any specific reason why. And they were trying to change my chatr into a fido. Everything seemed off about the phone call that's why I checked and I'm glad I did but I'm worried my information is already out there

It went from them being a “chatr representative” to silent calls that seem similar to the ones that call just to get info. i really don’t think it’s rogers trying to drain ur pay as you go, it’s literally scammers so stop saying that lmao

He tried switching me to a different carrier “for a better plan” which is the same plan I already have and I asked why would chatr give away their costumer he told me chatr thinks freedom is better. It’s a scam and they got a hold of my info somehow don’t trust them they’re probably trying to collect info or get to your social insurance number. Basically any 1(800) number won’t be a call you want to answer all scams, bots or collections.

I used to get 3-4 calls everyday after I registered with Freedom. After receiving no one speaks and auto disconnected after few seconds. I blocked this number.

Calls me everyday about 4-5 times from early morning to late at night (11pm). They would leave voice messages filling my voicemail and always use the same script. I have blocked their number and recommend you do the same.

I don't think you can trust these guys. Especially if it's not available on the website. He had my name and postal code which was strange.

They called me, told me that as a Chatr customer I would be offered a "special deal" with FIDO, I said I do not wish to change what I have. they kept calling me, NUMEROUS times a day, for over a week, at various different times, which to me clearly is some sort of scam or less drastically, just cold call sales. Regardless it was getting to be quite annoying especially since I declined the initial offer

He told me that is working for company chatr’s mobile in canada then he want to give me a better service, for the same price. So he will ship a new sim card with the same number for my phone, but he needs more information about me like numbers of my ID and other thing. Very be careful that’s sound weird. Im the wrong person they wanna deal with, anyway Scam people.

We are the same situation. In the first time I agree their offer but they need my 2 valid I’d but why they wanna ask your sin number as valid I’d? And credit card number? it is clear that this is not a valid ID isn’t it???? But they know my name and address and last digit of my card and expiration.. I’m a chart consumer they they want me to change it Fido... I think they are scammers ... they always calling me their number is 8442776919.

I have Rogers 'Pay as you go plan'. Every time this number calls me, even if I do not respond to the phonecall, Rogers charges almost 3$ per call. Wondering how much money Rogers is making from this types of fraud calls. PLEASE STOP THIS NONSENSE and DO NOT waste your customers money. They work very hard to make every single penny. OR lose the customer.
