This number claimed they had a warrant for my arrest, they left a message in my voicemail. I'm an officer for the state of Georgia, and Just for kicks and Giggles I even called the local sheriff department and confirmed there's no warrant for my arrest.

Told me I was going to be arrested for income tax fraud I told him they need to find a real job and I was going to call the FBI if they didn’t leave me alone ! The guy was real polite answering me yes sir and no sir really bizarre.

I missed two consecutive calls from this number. When I called back they answered the phone IRS. He said he was a senior auditor and went on to ask me what my name was. Then he asked me if I had filed taxes. At that point I became suspicious because if it was the IRS they would know if I had filed taxes. So I told him no I have not filed taxes so what was this called regarding? He then indicated that there was tax evasion or tax fraud on my account. I then told him that I think he had the wrong number and that I was going to hang up because I knew he was scamming me. At that point he hung up on me instead.

They have called several times, different times of the day but they never leave a message. If they can't leave a message then I don't have time to mess with them. Common courtesy goes a long way. I do not answer 800 numbers when I am at work.
