I'm at work and they called the work phone claiming to be part of Microsoft and that they need access to my computer. I just hung up the phone. I could hear multiple people in the background and it was a man with an Indian accent

It started out as a "computer problem" call. I am tired of getting this call and reminded the agent I was on their 'do not call' list and she hung up. I had time today, so I called back, and Jack said they were DirectTV. I asked Jack to put me on their 'do not call' list. He said it would be 72 hours. Knowing I've been told that before, yet the calls continue, I asked for the supervisor. John Cena announced himself as the Senior Manager on the floor, but he hung up on me when I demanded confirmation  that I am on their 'do not call' list. I called back and got Jack again, who told me John left after he hung up on me. Jack taunted me, and asked if I was familiar with WWE because that is why the supervisor chose the name John Cena. I was then transferred to John Cena's manager Keith Michael who was apologetic and advised he would submit my name/number to corporate and it would take 10-15days.  I asked for corporate's address, and Keith provided: 11514 Fairpoint, Houston TX 77099; which is a residential address. When I questioned the address, Keith assured me this was a good address, even if you google it, and it's some vacant lot or house, it is a good address. What a scam.

Definitely a scam call! A guy with ind** accent called me with this number. He said my computer was hacked by someone and asked me for some personal info. I do have a windows laptop, but I said to him I only have a Mac. Then he ask me my nationality, how long I've been in US and when I plan go back to home country. And then he suddenly hung up the phone.

'Justin' from 'Microsoft' called to try to get me to type a code into my runcommand prompt. He indicated that once I did what he said, I would then connect my computer to their network so they could fix my 'problem'. I called him out on his questionable requests, and he hung up on me (the audacity!). Then I called the number back to see what it would say, and they were trying to sell DirectTV. They claimed that the number I called had been hacked by some scammers just that morning and that it should be resolved in a couple days or they would have to change their phone number. Yep. Scammers.

I answered the call to nail these jerk, and I waited until jerk got on line and he claimed he was calling about "my computer" and that he was from "Microsoft". Since I haven't had my computer on line for months my **** Detector went off the charts and I told him "No you're not!" and I hung up on him. Unless yout are already in contact with someone at Microsoft they will not be calling you out of the blue like that.

Weasel with a strong Indian accent said he was from Microsoft and was calling to 'assist' me with my urgent computer problem. I told him he was my only computer problem and he hung up.
