Indian man who knows your name. Told him IRS sends a letter when you owe money not call. He then said specific dates when letters were sent, which I know I never receive. just told him my attorney would take care of this because it seemed like a scan and he got angry so I hung up

Irs phone scam. A man from India will say you owe thousands, have your records, and threaten to release the records and have you arrested if you hang up. And don't try to explain yourself because they won't listen. I say they because they will ask if you want to settle out of court and if you say yes, the man will put another man on the phone and claim he's from a different department. It will seem legit because if you ignore the call, they will leave a voice mail.
