Called saying he was from PayPal and there was a $75 charge to my account. I asked him to provide my e-mail address, or the last charge to my PayPal account, and he could not. He said my IP address was showing San Francisco and Phoenix, AZ. I live in neither. I continued to press him but he could not provide any information. Very heavy accent from India or Pakistan. This is obviously a scam. Beware!

Indian / Pakistani accent guy called me stating that someone had charged my PayPal account $75.00. I asked him to give me the last 4 digits of the credit card charged. He said against company policy. I told him he was a liar.

Same call-- Indian-like accent telling me my paypal account was compromised. Wanted me to go to www.helpme.net/paypal. I told him it gave me an error 404 message. He had me retype it. I asked if I should do it in capitals or lower-case. After jerking him around a while longer and acting dumb, I finally said I would call Paypal directly and deal with it. He told me to call them at 844-777-7874. What a scam!!!!!
