If you want to donate. get the name of the organization, check it out on line, then donate directly if you wish. If you donate during a solicited phone call little if any of the money will go to the organization. These calls are a scam.

I'm mixed on this one. I don't know if it's legit, or a scam. It involves the United Police Officers Association. So if it's legit I want to help, but if it's a scam, I want to report them. So here's what happened, you decide. They called my number asking for someone else, I told them that person wasn't at this number, then they asked if I could help, I said maybe, then they asked if I wanted to donate to the United Police Officers Association that they could mail me a packet to donate, I said okay, then the supervisor came on and asked to verify my info and credit card number which I hadn't given. I told here the other guy said they'd mail me a packet, so she asked for my address, I gave her the PO BOX #, so I'll have to see if this is legit, or not. I'll try to update my rating as soon as I know one way or the other.
