Called my husband, elderly mother in law notifying of intent to sue for theft and copyright violation. Said I should contact my attorney before I am sued. Didn’t call back because I know it’s a scam call. You can’t go to jail or have your license taken for an unpaid debt. Intent to sue notices are not delivered by 800 number, only by mail or process server.

My son received the call from that number and told me I needed to call them because it was in regards to theft of services and if I did not call them back, my driver's license would be suspended. I called them back and got a voicemail. It said if I already received my summons, I need to contact the County Clerk's office. I am an educator and I would not put my profession on the line for any kind of "theft of services" or ANYTHING for that matter!! This is a SCAM!!!

Caller said I owed on a credit card,( which I have in collections and is being paid as agreed by the collector), that was not being paid and that my drivers Lassens it would be suspended if I did not resolve this matter.

Call was not for me. Instead, someone else with my last name. Caller claimed to represent a client who had not been paid a settlement previously agreed to. Caller claimed they would be entering a "Guilty plea" on behalf of the Respondent, which would result in the suspension of the Respondent's Washington Driver's License. The caller had a Texas accent. Reverse Directory identified the call was coming from National Accounts Resolution Bureau in Alvord, TX. Sheriff's Office identified this is a SCAM.
