I keep getting the same message coming from Texas numbers...they call several times a day. I block it and they call from a different Texas number. This should be illegal!!! Urgent Message, hi, this is Officer Gregg Murphy from Social Security Administration. The nature of this call is to inform you about some legal enforcement actions filed on your social security number. We have got an order to suspend your social at very right moment because we have found many suspicious activities on your social before we go ahead and suspend your number kindly call us back on our number, which is (number changes each time I block the number). I repeat its xxxxxxxxxx. Thank you, and goodbye.

Indian-accented male told me criminal activity in Texas occurred against my SSN. He wanted me to provide my DOB. He knew my address. He said if I didn’t provide more info the sheriff would come to my house...I had a bad feeling and googled the Social Security Administation. Totally bogus!

He said the sheriff dept would contact me because I had a problem with my social security number. They tried to get my birth date for verification of who I was and I told them I would not give out private information. I asked for him to give me my social security number for verification of who he was since he said he was with the Social Security Administration and he hung up.

This number called me just now stating my SSN had criminal activity & they also threatened to send the police to my house in 45 minutes. They also would not say who they were or give any other details, they only wanted me to give them my personal information. Major scam. This number needs to be investigated.

I received a robotcall asking to call back because there was some criminal activity with my social security then I called back and I was told that my local police has open a criminal investigation then before they start asking for personal information I told them that I won't give any information over the phone and I will contact my local ss office and then they told me if Idon't talk to them the police will callme in 45 minutes and the call end.......still waiting for the police phone call.
