They left a message saying someone made a purchase using my Amazon account and I should contact this number if I didn’t authorize this purchase. It’s a scam because I don’t have an account with Amazon, and people I know that don’t have Amazon accounts have also received this message.

have had these before , it is a active line/number verification ROBO call if you pick up and say hello , OR if you wait for them , it will have a recorded voice say "hello ??" in a effort to get YOU to respond ..if it hears a "human voice" respond . it ( the computer ) then tags the number as " active " and puts the number on a list , for future calls .
