He left the following voice message, "Hi my name is Orlando and I realize this is kind of a random call (hold on honey, I'm on the phone) but the reason why I was calling is because we recently purchased the property in the neighborhood and I wanted to see if you would also be interested in a cash offer for your property. If not, no worries just disregard this call. We have investment funds and we need to get them in place right away and we really like the area. We pay cash and close on the date you ask and um selling to us is easy and we try to make it straight forward and there's no need, ah, to make repairs and you'll never pay any closing costs or commissions. So, uh, my offer to you is what you'll walk away with. So, um, if you are serious about getting a fair cash offer, call me back at 813-485-4155. Said his name was Orlando, clearly read from a script, said he was "new to the area", had "bought some property in the area" and wanted to know if I had any to sell for cash on the spot. Definitely a scammer.
