Debt collector. A person called, speaking with heavy accent. I said this housing-related debt was partially fraudulent - about half the bill - and I would never pay that bill in full. The connection dropped, other party didn't call back. Not going to call them despite the hit on my otherwise perfect credit score that this collection status bill creates.

Dont think that just cause they are persistent(I've been called 3 days in a row) that it's legit. They just apply repeat pressure so you think "what if its real". They will have some of your info so dont fall for it and refrain from giving additional info. Hope it helps

It is usually a spoofed # from overseas or a rotating voip if they can get around a block and still have the same # show.
