Unifin, Inc. Debt Collector (Debt collector) reported by


After doing some research, I discovered that this is a collection agency named Unifin, Inc. They often hang up when you try to answer, and when they do answer they try to get you to confirm your personal info (last 4# of SS#, birthday, etc.). When you ask them to stop calling they don't. This is a business phone line. They call and call but never leave a message. When I do answer and tell them this is a business and to not call this number again they get very rude and argue with me and then hang up. I will not verify anything over the phone, especially when they dont even have correct information on who they are even calling!!

i missed the call so I called back - woman w/a heavy foreign accent asked for my #, I gave it to her, she asked if I was (my name), I said it depends on who's calling. She said it was about a business matter. I asked if she was going to offer me a job, she said no, she told me the last 4 of my social, I told her I discuss nothing person over the phone with people who don't identify themselves and to not call me again. I blocked the #. Could be a bill collector, but I don't care.
